Sharon Osbourne and Ozzy Osbourne have embraced their flaws and shortcomings. The 70-year-old TV personality and her 74-year-old husband have been married for nearly four decades, but Sharon acknowledges that their relationship has had its fair share of challenges over the years. According to E! News, she admitted, “No relationship is smooth sailing, and it requires effort. You go through rough patches, difficult times, and even terrible times. However, if you truly love each other, you’ll work through them.”
Sharon stressed the importance of accepting people for who they are. She believes that one must come to terms with the fact that individuals will never completely meet your expectations. She says, “You have to accept them. They have both good and bad qualities. If your love for them is genuine, then you’ll accept and understand that you cannot change them.”
From 2002 to 2005, Sharon Osbourne and Ozzy Osbourne entertained audiences with their reality TV show, ‘The Osbournes’. Offering a glimpse into their family life, the series became a huge success. Ozzy recently revealed that the show was completely unscripted, unlike many reality shows today. During a discussion with SiriusXM, he expressed, “Nowadays, everything is scripted. Our show was completely unscripted.”
When Ozzy initially agreed to do ‘The Osbournes’, he faced accusations of “selling out”. However, he defended himself by stating, “I’m in the entertainment business.” The Osbournes were actually approached to be part of ‘Cribs’, another MTV series where celebrities showcased their homes in each episode. This led to the creation of ‘The Osbournes’ as an extended version of ‘Cribs’ that gradually evolved into its own phenomenon.
