Superstar Shah Rukh Khan is currently one of the biggest actors in Indian cinema. However, thirty years ago, SRK started his career in Bollywood with the film Deewana. In a recent interview, his co-star Dalip Tahil shared his experience of working with King Khan and talked about a memorable incident on the set.
Dalip Tahil revealed that he had worked with Shah Rukh when he first came to Mumbai. The film they did together was Deewana, and at that time, SRK’s career was just beginning to take off. The director of the film, Raj Kanwar, was known for wanting things his own way. However, SRK surprised everyone with his determination to do things his way.
During the shooting of a scene, Shah Rukh expressed his ideas about how it should be done, which caught Raj Kanwar off guard. The actor was amazed to see the new guy standing up to the established director. Initially worried that things might escalate, Dalip was surprised when Raj Kanwar actually supported SRK’s vision and agreed to try things his way.
Dalip was impressed by Shah Rukh’s confidence and positivity. The actor mentioned that Shah Rukh’s energy and conviction were so strong that even the director had to admit that his way could work. Dalip emphasized that Shah Rukh continues to bring this dynamism and unique energy to his work.
Shah Rukh Khan’s most recent film, Jawan, was released on September 7. It had an impressive opening, earning 75 crore rupees, and within just two days, the film amassed a global total of 200 crore rupees.
