The makers of the highly anticipated Prabhas-starrer film ‘Salaar: Part 1 Ceasefire’ have officially confirmed the postponement of its release date. The new release date, however, has not yet been finalized.
Hombale Films, the producers of the film, took to social media to announce the delay of the film’s release date. In an official statement on X (formerly called Twitter), they expressed their gratitude for the unwavering support for #Salaar and explained that the postponement is due to unforeseen circumstances. They assured the audience that this decision has been made with care, as their aim is to deliver an exceptional cinematic experience.
The team behind the film is working tirelessly to meet the highest standards, and the new release date will be announced in due course. They urged the audience to stay with them as they make the final touches on #SalaarCeaseFire and thanked them for being a part of this incredible journey.
The film, directed by Prashanth Neel, known for his work in ‘K.G.F.’, is progressing at a fast pace and is currently in the post-production stage.
Initially, the film was scheduled to release on September 28. However, due to reports of its postponement, Excel Entertainment, in collaboration with Hombale on ‘K.G.F.’, decided to release their film ‘Fukrey 3’ on the same date. ‘Fukrey 3’ was initially slated for a December 2023 release. As a result, it will now face a clash with Vivek Agnihotri’s ‘The Vaccine War’ in theaters, while ‘Jawan’ continues to create waves in the box office and thrill the film industry.
