Actor Sahill Uppal has expressed his desire to portray a mafia character and engage in action-packed scenes involving martial arts. He believes that embodying the roles of action stars like Vidyut Jamwal and John Abraham would greatly benefit his acting career.
Sahill Uppal stated, “As an actor, I find satisfaction in commencing my career in the realm of television. Undoubtedly, it is the most challenging medium. When shooting for movies or web series, we receive scripts beforehand and have ample time to prepare ourselves accordingly.”
“Moreover, we even have the opportunity to practice on the sets before the actual filming. Conversely, on television, we are presented with scripts on the very day of shooting, leaving us with limited time for preparation. TV shows typically have longer durations, while OTT platforms and movies operate under time constraints. After consecutively filming for TV shows, ‘Fuh Se Fantasy Season 2’ provided me with a fresh experience and a well-deserved break,” Sahill Uppal added.
Expressing his delight in returning to television with ‘Pandya Store’, Sahill Uppal also expressed his eagerness to explore new opportunities across various mediums and portray diverse characters. He aspires to portray a mafia character and engage in thrilling action sequences involving guns and martial arts. He believes that playing roles similar to Vidyut Jamwal, John Abraham, and other established actors would significantly contribute to the progression of his acting career.
The actor, who is currently appearing in ‘Fuh Se Fantasy’ Season 2, candidly shared his apprehension towards shooting intimate scenes for the series. Sahill Uppal admitted, “I am a reserved person in real life. Initially, I was quite hesitant and nervous about filming intimate scenes, as I had never done such scenes before in my career.”
“However, I am grateful to have had an intimacy coordinator who made the process easier for me. He arranged ice-breaking exercises for me and my co-star Kanika to practice, which helped both of us feel more comfortable. I sincerely hope that the audience enjoys the chemistry we have built,” Sahill Uppal revealed.
Sahill Uppal embarked on his acting journey in 2014 with the show ‘P.S. I Hate You’. Since then, he has gained recognition for his lead roles in family dramas like ‘Ek Shringaar Swabhiman’ and ‘Pinjra Khoobsurti Ka’.
