Jay-Z is organizing a high-stakes blackjack party to raise funds for his Reform Alliance organization. The event, titled “Casino Royale,” will take place in Atlantic City and will feature a prize pot of $1 million. Players will be required to pay a buy-in fee of up to $100,000 for the gambling games, while non-players can purchase tickets for $50,000.
The party, scheduled for September 30, will be hosted by Jay-Z and attended by celebrities such as Kim Kardashian and Beyonce. The Reform Alliance board, including Robert Kraft, Meek Mill, and Michael Rubin, will invite 300 guests to the Ocean Casino Resort, where the jackpot donations will be collected.
The event is designed to be exclusive and luxurious, inspired by Michael’s annual Fourth of July white party. Performances and a glamorous atmosphere similar to Beyonce and Jay-Z’s post-Oscars Gold Party are also planned. NBA players, private equity players, CEOs, musicians Megan Thee Stallion and DJ Khaled, and model-actress Emily Ratajkowski are rumored to be on the guest list.
Individual approval from the board is required for all guests, ensuring exclusivity and preventing the ability to buy one’s way into the event. To facilitate transportation, 10 to 15 helicopters will be arranged to fly guests to and from New York City for the party.
The goal of the event is to raise $20 million for the Reform Alliance organization, which seeks to bring about reforms in probation and parole laws.
