Actor Gagan Anand, who plays the character of Sikh cop Dilbagh Singh in the series ‘Tatlubaaz,’ had a remarkable experience shooting with actress Nargis Fakhri. Gagan, who is well-known for his roles in shows like ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ and ‘Lag Ja Gale,’ revealed that working with Nargis was the most memorable experience for him as an actor.
Gagan spoke about the challenges he faced while working with Nargis, saying, “Nargis spoke only in English, and my character had to perform comic scenes with her in proper Benarasi Hindi. Since timing is crucial in comedy, the language barrier made it very challenging for me.”
Despite the language barrier, Gagan praised Nargis for her dedication and preparation for the role. He mentioned that they would rehearse in between shots, during lunch breaks, and even after pack-up. Gagan was impressed by Nargis’ commitment and appreciated her humble nature, saying she never gave off a star-like aura.
Gagan admitted that Nargis’ down-to-earth approach taught him the importance of humility. He described their on-screen partnership as a dream come true in his television and web career so far. He also praised reality TV star Divya Agarwal, stating that she was a friendly presence on set and contributed to the overall positive atmosphere.
Gagan, who played the role of both an actor and the head of production on the show, believes that working with a friendly co-actor like Divya made half of his job easier. In addition to his appearances in shows like ‘Veer Ki Ardaas Veera’ and ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein,’ Gagan has also ventured into the OTT space with series like ‘Bicchoo Ka Khel’ and ‘Hai Taubba.’
