Sheebha Chaddha, the versatile actress renowned for her impressive performances in films like ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha,’ ‘Mirzapur,’ ‘Raees,’ ‘Badhaai Ho,’ ‘Gully Boy,’ and more, recently opened up about her musical interests. The talented artist revealed her deep love for Jazz and Indian classical music.
In an interview with ‘Pop Wrap by IVM Podcasts,’ Sheebha Chaddha expressed her fascination with old Bollywood songs, admiring the innocence and beauty of the black and white era. While acknowledging her fondness for music, she confessed that she hadn’t invested much effort in setting up a good music system at home.
The Delhi-born actress shared, “I like listening to music all the time. I am very fond of jazz, Indian classical, and I also enjoy exploring new music from the younger generation.”
Having developed an early interest in theater, Sheebha Chaddha participated in theater workshops during her upbringing in Delhi. She pursued English literature at Hans Raj College, where she crossed paths with filmmaker Anurag Kashyap.
Not just limited to mainstream cinema, Sheebha Chaddha has showcased her acting prowess as a character actor in films like ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam,’ ‘Parzania,’ ‘Delhi 6,’ ‘Luck by Chance,’ and ‘Talaash.’ She also featured in the short film ‘Prakata Het Yad,’ where she skillfully delivered dialogue in gibberish alongside actor Rituraj Singh.
Amidst her busy schedule, Sheebha Chaddha shared that she finds joy in doing nothing and considers wasting days a delightful experience. Embracing moments of relaxation, she cherishes days spent lounging at home, sipping coffee, and tending to her cherished plants.
