Britney Spears has once again deleted her Instagram account. The singer, who briefly left the platform in January, has been a frequent user since her conservatorship ended two years ago. However, after posting a message criticizing fans for approaching her in public, she removed the post and ultimately deactivated her account.
In her final post, which featured a photo of herself in underwear, the 41-year-old star expressed frustration with fans constantly telling her “we missed you” wherever she goes. She sarcastically remarked about being relatable and questioned whether she should prevent fans from saying hi and disturbing her peace.
Earlier this year, when Spears deactivated her Instagram account, she faced backlash from fans and felt “gaslit and bullied” when police were called to check on her welfare. The singer clarified that the police visit was a result of prank phone calls and no issue was found at her home. She expressed her love and appreciation for her fans but asked for privacy going forward.
