Taking a trip down memory lane, actor Vicky Kaushal reminisced about the shooting of his acclaimed film ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ and shared the behind-the-scenes details of the stunts in the military action movie.
The upcoming episode of ‘India’s Got Talent’ season 10 will celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi with Vicky and Manushi Chhillar. They will grace the stage to promote their upcoming movie ‘The Great Indian Family’.
The contestants will showcase their unique talents and spread the festive cheer with thrilling performances. The Abujhmad Malkhamb group from Chhattisgarh, known for their agility and strength, will perform an awe-inspiring act on the song ‘Challa (Main Lad Jaana)’ from the movie ‘Uri’.
‘Challa (Main Lad Jaana)’ is sung by Romy, Vivek Hariharan, and Shashwat Sachdev and features Vicky, Yami Gautam, Mohit Raina, Kirti Kulhari, and Paresh Rawal in pivotal roles. The film is a dramatized account of India’s retaliation to the 2016 Uri attack.
The powerful performance by the Abujhmad Malkhamb group reminds Vicky of his days shooting for the film, where he played the role of Major Vihaan Shergill of the Para (Special Forces). Impressed with their act, Vicky commended them and shared his experience of training and performing stunts in ‘Uri’.
Vicky shared, “I injured myself and developed a tennis elbow while performing those stunts in ‘Uri’, even after undergoing four months of military training. I can only imagine how challenging their act must have been. I salute their talent and performance.”
Judge Shilpa Shetty Kundra praised the group, stating that their performance was finale-worthy. Vicky also conveyed his father’s message to the group, expressing their admiration for their stunts and talent.
‘India’s Got Talent 10’ airs on Sony.
