Actor Andy Garcia, who is preparing for the release of his upcoming film ‘Expendables 4’, has shared an interesting story about his long-standing relationship with the director of the movie, Scott Waugh. According to Garcia, he has known Scott for nearly 30 years, as Scott was once his stunt double. The name of the film they worked together on was ‘Desperate Measures’.
Speaking about working with Scott on ‘Expendables 4’, Garcia, who plays Marsh, CIA Operative in the film, expressed his admiration for the director. He described Scott as someone who knows what he wants and is like a field general in his approach. Garcia also mentioned that Scott allows freedom and experimentation on set, which is a great quality to have.
Garcia further emphasized the importance of having a director who is open to spontaneity and can recognize when something unexpected works well on the day of shooting. He praised Scott’s talent and mentioned that they first met on the set of ‘Desperate Measures’ in the 90s when Scott was his stunt double.
In terms of directing ‘Expendables 4’, Garcia believes that Scott’s involvement has been a blessing for the film.
