Veteran Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan praised actor Vicky Kaushal’s father, action director Sham Kaushal, for his role in ensuring the well-being of crew members on film sets. In an upcoming episode of the quiz-based reality show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 15’, Bachchan will welcome Vicky and Manushi Chhillar to promote their upcoming movie ‘The Great Indian Family’. The promo shows Vicky in a grey suit and white formal shirt, while Manushi looks stunning in a red off-shoulder dress. During the show, Bachchan presents a flower to Manushi, who was crowned Miss World 2017. Vicky showcases his dancing skills in the style of his character ‘Bhajan Kumar’ from the movie. Taking over the hot seat, Vicky and Manushi promise an entertaining mix of gameplay and banter with Bachchan.
One of the highlights of the episode is the nostalgic conversation between Bachchan and Vicky, where Bachchan reminisces about Vicky’s father, Sham Kaushal. The 80-year-old actor speaks fondly of his extensive experience working with Sham. He describes Sham as a paragon of hard work and diligence, known for his commitment to safeguarding artists from harm. Whenever there was a risk of injury in a scene, Sham would promptly offer a skilled stunt double as an alternative. Bachchan expresses his gratitude to Sham for his care and protection of all actors.
The winning amount from the show will be donated by Vicky and Manushi to the Manavlok Organisation, which supports backward and rural communities through socio-economic assistance. ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 15’ airs on Sony.
