During a conversation with ETimes, Pratik revealed, “Yes, I’ve been a victim of bullying because of my physical appearance. I wasn’t very tall, so I faced a lot of bullying in school. Other kids would also tease me about my father, but I remained silent because I had no response. They would flaunt their luxurious lifestyles and cars, which made them taunt me. I kept to myself and stayed reserved. I had friends, but I couldn’t go out with them due to a lack of money and a car.”
The Naagin actor further added, “So, I rather not become a liability on anyone. I stopped going out and stayed home with my mother. Eventually, my friends stopped inviting me to school trips or get-togethers. These things would hurt me because, despite having friends, I felt alone. But at one point, I detached myself emotionally to avoid further hurt.”
Pratik Sehajpal is not the only actor to have spoken about being bullied. Many individuals in the showbiz industry have shared their struggles from the early days, and we deeply respect their hard work. It is this dedication that has led them to succeed today!
