Jesse Tyler Ferguson is facing difficulties in potty-training his son. The actor, who is 47 years old, has a three-year-old son named Beckett, as well as a nine-month-old named Sullivan, with his spouse Justin Mikita. He explained that he is currently finding it hard to handle the different stages of life that his sons are in. According to him, “They’re really good! My biggest parenting challenge right now is potty training one while the other one is nowhere near that. Juggling the different stages can be hard.”
When asked if he plans on having more children in the future, Jesse Tyler Ferguson replied with a definitive “One thousand percent no. This is it!”
In addition, the star of ‘The Class’ mentioned that if his children ever decide to pursue a career in showbusiness, he hopes to set a good example for them. He said, “I hope I lead by example. My career makes me very happy, and I want to be able to do that and be a great dad to them. I want them to do things that they are passionate about and that make them happy!”
Outside of television, Jesse has had a successful time on Broadway, winning a Tony Award for his role in ‘Take Me Out’ last season. He also recently started a podcast called ‘Dinner’s on Me’. During the podcast, he was thrilled to be joined by his ‘Modern Family’ co-star Julie Bowen, whom he considers to be like a sister. Jesse Tyler Ferguson shared, “Oh gosh, I mean, 11 years with Julie Bowen I have a lot! She’s basically like a sister to me. A lot of my good memories are actually from after the show ended. I call her up about parenting advice all the time. She’s very good at it.”
